Tried to use the "Save £1" on Elle McP from the mag on a mini on clearance for 20p but no go, hardly surprising!

There were lots of DeadSeaSource giftsets containing a bath souffle , a body scrub or butter - can't remember which, sorry! and a bath lily (scrub thingy) for only£3 but I was sensible and didn't get them Wasn't so sensible when I went back later and they'd put some different clearance stuff out - bought 3 TedBaker giftsets for girls for £2 each - dunno who they're for!

This was at Cribbs Causeway. the clearance stand has recently been moved to right by the main outside doors so people see it as soon as they come in - it used to be more hidden so I think only seasoned Bootsers bothered with it. Yesterday it was well stocked with dozens of the Boots Rose 3bath products in a box and also minis in a really nice sponge bag - but some people were buying sooo many! One lady had about 10 sponge bags in her baskets! Today they also had lots - about 40 when I went in and maybe 20 later on - of the R&M lip palettes for £1- just this minute realised I could've tried to use a till spit on them - durrh!

May be too late to answer this - you've probably got back from your trip by now and others will prob already have answered it but: you need to actually give Boots £50 of your own money to get the points. This caught me out - doing exactly what you were doing, I think - I was flummoxed cos I'd been adding things up to get to £50+ but then used a £5 off voucher and no longer qualified for the 1000 points/total spend. I had to go dashing off to get something else - rather annoyingly, it was the thing I had planned to get with points later on! And all because there were no S&G GWPs left, so I wasn't going to spend the £15 I'd planned to on S&G. Curse you, Mr Boots!:rolleyes:

They are the ones from the recent mailings, (mine, my Mum's and my Sister's) and so don't run out until 24/12/08. So I should be able to get the new GWP for around £5ish each (probably a bit more though because it will be in a London store) I need a few of those star palletts, some sparkly lip gloss and the glittery eye liner:D

I got 3 for 2 on Mens No7 with GWP, and 3 for 2 on Xmas gifts - 2 cappucino sets and the banana split set, added a bag of choc coins to get £50, so got 1200 points - all online today.

You soooo lucky!
I can't decide what I want more - the star pallette or the GWP!!
Though, if I buy the star pallette I only need to spend another £9.50? to get the GWP too! Think I may have to splurge to get both!
