Just one last question for tonight. On the mailing extra points vouchers it clearly states cannot be used in conjunction with storewide points events. However, NUNINGE said the other day that they used theirs on the 1000 Xmas nights. Shall I risk it or will it go bleep? Anyone else tried this? If I can't, I'm thinking forget the 1000 Xmas points, I would rather use 350 + 450 + 300 + double points and get 350 + 450 + 300 + 200 + 200 which is 1500 points. Wish me luck.
Hello Mimi,
Just to clarify that what I used was a 300 point when you spend £35 or over voucher that came out of the ACM rather than any mailing extra points vouchers. THis combined with the normal 200 points plus the extra 1000 for spending £50 on a special Christmas night. Hope that helps. I'd try them all anyway and just smile a lot which after reading your posts, seems to get you quite far in the bootsing world ha ha. Good luck.

Got my half price FCUK weekend bag today with no probs. Tried to combine it with No7 mens 342 + TS + pinkie on SS tills but SA came across and wouldn't let me. She voided it all and stood over me so I couldn't use TS and pinkie together. Never mind. You can't win them all. Later on got R&M brush £8, Dennis the menace socks £8 and choccie slab £6 on 342 with pinkie and TS so paid £6. Felt better after that!0

could you just clarify :- so the GREEN MEDITERRANEAN SKIN TREATS BAG (£15.00) is being recalled?? - i don't have the receipt - will i be given the option for a full money refund??(as it's being recalled) or can i just exchange??THIS ONE IN GREEN???
(green one isn't online anymore)
Thanks for any help!X
Hello,
Not sure if anyone has answered this or not but I had a similar incident when Mattel had all their toys recalled. I had bought something in Boots for a friend's little girl a few months beofre it was needed and therefore I didn't have a receipt but Boots refunded the original full price. I'm not sure if this was because they could obviously then get the full price back from Mattel but am sure that if they have had to recall a product through a fault of their own, that they will refund you the full price. Hope that helps.

Oh I really hope so Babiesmummy as I'm hoping to do this tomorrow if the voucher that is kindly in the post on its way to me gets here in time. I didn't realise it runs out tomorrow. I am going to try an Oral B electric toothbrush with the 1500 points voucher plus an electrical till spit and pinky....do you think this will work? I'll buy lots of other things to make it up to £50 to get the other 1000 points and check the ACM to see if they're offering me any more points for anything. I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow.

Not sure if anyone has answered you yet as I am working my way through reading now, but I used my mailing coupons on the xmas night, I used a couple they went through fine no beeps, but I used the ones for that date as the dates are staggered, so dont know what would happen if you used ones with the wrong date? Also I used points from ACM no prob
Me too, handed over the wrong one first and that beeped, then I realised it was because it was not yet the 1st Nov'.Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0 -

Placed an order with boots.com 22nd October and was suppose to be delivered 28th October. Checked my account yesterday and it said something like "waiting for authorisation from pharmacy". Dunno why as I didnt order any medicines. Anyway, just looked again and it says order cancelled. Havent received any email notification. Never had this problem before.
Does this happen to others? Is it worth reordering and will "offer of the week" and 600 points for ordering over £60 still be honored?0 -
If you do get to westfield please report back:D I work just up the road from there and would love to know what the boots store is like. TIA
Westfield was very crowded today but it's to be expected being the opening day and loads of shops running promotions (and some free booze too!).
Boots is on 2 floors, has all the premium beauty brands on the ground floor and a pharmacy and opticians upstairs. Small SS area upstairs (about 4 tills) and a really small fridge area for sandwiches/food. I was in there at lunchtime and it was a mad scramble to get a sandwich. This really needs re-thinking as it was a mess today.
They don't give out pinkies, only till spits, no reduced things as far as I could see, loads of staff on standby to help. There were 2 SAs handing out FCUK perfume samples (polished and pure, both small 2ml vials).
It was a nice boots, I reckon about the same floor space as the one in Brent Cross. And it has all the soap and glory stuff in stock with 2 women willing to do makeovers
Anything else you want to know?0
