I just did the mirror 3 for 2 for the first time (only using pinkie tho so not quite as much of a heart thumper on manned tills!). Picked my till carefully and got 3 gifts for £7. Did this again with the same SA, was tempted to get even more but wasn't sure if I was using a glitch for the sake of it. I got a £5 item each time so I didn't have to worry about them being scanned in the right order. Oh and Dundee finally has the breast cancer powders on clearance, £5.25

To make sure the SA scans it first either hand it to her or prepare your basket with the mirror on top. Personally I would add a few other items, as the SA might be a bit shocked at the £1/£2 total and take another look at your vouchers. Alos make it over £5 and get another pinkie/ts :j

I couldn't use a pinkie on the R&M mirror! I was told that it's a gift set and to read the conditions on the back of the voucher.

Yes, it can be SA dependant, but the till will accept it. So if you can convince the SA "Oh, it worked last time/for my friend, just try it, please" and there is no beep they might let it thru. Try a different SA/Boots. My local has one SA that actually gets her glasses out and reads e-v-e-r-y w-o-r-d, very slowly. (I don't go to her anymore!)

Sorry to hear about that. I saw 2 in store today, all on their own, so I bagged them. LOL. I think it's fair, cos I got 2 x £5 Orange top ups, and neither SA gave me a PINKIE. This always happens. SA's short change me out of a PINKIE and then mysteriously one appears in front of me on the way out. I now have .... wait for it .... 13! Did some more BOOTSing today, on my own mind, nephew pulled out, not well, or so he says! *** Happened upon quite a big shelf of NO 7 HAND CREAM or something. It was reduced to £5.13, so more or less free with a PINKIE. Can't remember the name as I walked past it, but did not look/buy it as I thought it was a tad too expensive for my liking. This was in the Albion Street Leeds store near the entrance of the shopping centre. *** Got the NO 7 3 4 2 GWP thing. Had a 250 points voucher from last time I got a GWP, so used it. Gave it to the SA, she tried putting on the 375 points which did not work, explained it was the 250 cos UK, which then went through. She gave me the 250 points voucher back saying you might want to use it for the 375 points. I was like I'VE USED IT. She was like TAKE IT. I was like OK LOVE. LOL. So got 3 x Post Shave Balm, GWP, 250 points for TS/PINKIE/£3.00. Plus I now have 2 x 250 extra points cos she gave it me back and the one in the bag. Woohoo. *** Anyone got TS that they want to swop for PINKIES? PM me. Oh and MELGIRL love, if you want 2 x PINKIES, pm me. I still owe you for the 2 x FRAGRANCE that you gave me. PS. same happened to me today she refused point blank to take the TS aswell
she wouldnt even try it and called the manager :eek:
manager said you cant use two in the same transaction
i just said ok then
need another pinkie to try at another store now :rotfl:
oh got two mini brush sets too with pinkie they were £2.50
each with clearance sticker on
