Just wondering if anyone knows how you can subscribe to The Economist with student discount.
I've found this site: http://www.student-subscription-service.co.uk/magazine-the-economist.asp
However, it says 3-4 weeks for delivery, so not much good.
Any suggestions welcome.

If you're doing economics at uni then ask your tutors, as my uni when I did it had some little flyers to fill in to get loads of discount.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

You can get a 62% discount, just ring the subscription line up.
You usually just have to send off proof that you are a student - a photocopy of your student card would do.Any advice given is done so purely on the basis that it be taken as guidance and not a definitive answer to a question. Even better, why not just read/loan the copy at your uni library? I've been doing that with new scientist for the past 2 years...0

i subscribed a couple weeks ago, after accidentally letting the old subscription lapse (they send you regular reminders starting 6 months before the subscription runs out, so i just kept ignoring them), and the first issue arrived in a week, the same day as the invoice.0
