GOoutdoors

I was recommended to go to this camping and outdoor equipment store by a colleague. It is just outside Wakefield, at Middlestown. It used to be called Mitchells. There are 9 other shops in the UK. I wanted to buy my first pair of proper walking boots though I am not an experienced walker, so I didn't want to pay too much. I also have feet slightly wider than average.
I appproached a busy looking guy unpacking boxes and got the most amazing customer service I have ever had anywhere! Nothing was too much trouble, he didn't try to sell me anything too expensive, nor did he go for a dirt cheap option which would not have been suitable. He lent me a pair of lovely socks for trying on, but did not try to sell them to me. Instead, only when I said I would need socks, he fetched a BOGOF offer, so again I was treated to real service, not just moneymaking.
Maybe he is a member of MSE???
