I want to learn Latin American Spanish online

Does anyone know of a Latin American site that broadcasts global TV news reports online? I've had some success over the years learning French from sites like this http://www.france24.com/fr/, but am now off to Argentina and would like to improve my Spanish (I already speak some Spanish which I've learnt in South America). But I can't find anything equivalent to the French site - everything from South America seems a bit domestic, and I find Spanish Spanish harder to understand. Any ideas?

Have you tried teleSUR, the station set up by Hugo Chavez? I'm not sure how much it covers world news, but it certainly covers stories across all of Latin America rather than just one country.
The live streaming feed is here: http://www.telepuertovirtual2.tv/telesur45
The website is: http://www.telesurtv.net/
I'm not familiar with the French site so I don't know how similar it is.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon

Thanks. Pretty earnest stuff (seems to be all about workers' protests!), but it should help.0

I can't help, but you might like to watch some films from Argentina. In particular, one of my favourite political films was made there: the award-winning 'La historia oficial' (variously translated as 'The Official Version' or 'The Official Story'). It was released as a free DVD by the Independent a couple of years ago: I telephoned them and they had some left, which they were selling for about three pounds. The only downside was that you had to pay by posting them a cheque, which was too much nuisance, so I bought one on Ebay for a similar price. It is good quality reproduction: in Spanish with English sub-titles.
I am sure that there are many others if you look for them.0 -
That's a nice post. Learning Spanish is no exception. There are many online Spanish courses to choose from and anyone can learn Spanish online. Online colleges, universities and professional programs can coach people on anything these days. One can comfortably learn Spanish at home, in your office, or for that matter, anywhere, with the help of a private live online Spanish tutor.0
