advice needed,
i switched electric company from scottish power over to southern electric for my parents
a meter reading from scottish power was taken on the 29/09/08
i wrote it down that day what it was
29526 night electric
75345 day

they recived there bill on the 13/10/08
and ther readings where estmated after he read the meter
29618 night
75522 day
i have worked it out at £26.76 they have paided extra for what they did not use
that bill date was up to the 24/09/08
which i still dont understand why they came round to take a reading on the 29/09/08 but the bill is for the period upto 24/09/08
as i was away they paided the bill on the 15/10/08
and i only saw it today,
i know southern electric have took over now from 24/09/08 bill date

have they paided to much or will it adjust itself when southern electric take there reading??

thanks for any advice

If your unsure of it at all take two readings 5 days apart and give SE a call and the can change the CoS reading.
