INCOME SUPPORT MORTGAGE INTEREST,atm you have to wait 39 weeks for help with the interest on your mortgage and that help is limited to the first 100k,the govt announced a few weeks ago that from April 1st 2009 this would change to 175k and 13 weeks, today they have announced that this change will now take effect from January 1st 2009:j

That is good news, waiting 39 weeks is diabolical, by that time your home would have more than likely been repossesed. I am glad its been reviewed, although I am in no need at the moment for help, who knows whats around the corner, I have in the past had to claim help with my mortgage for a short time when my ex husband left me and until I got myself back into employment again, this is a bit of relief for me actually, as my partner is self employed and I worry so much about the future, after managing to hold on to my home last time round I would hate to lose it in the future, for the sake of being unable to have some temporary help with interest payments.0

Got no mortgage any more (thank goodness) but excellent news for those that find themselves unable to work for one reason or another.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
