Can you help here - I don't know how many times this happens to me but sometimes after I've written a post and go to submit it, I am told I am not logged in which I have to be else I couldn't be writing anything!
I can't go back and find what I've written and it makes me mad that my post has disappeared especially if it's a long one:mad:!
Can you save what you've written before submitting it? That way, I would know that I can still post whatever I've done!

Just keep a word processing program open, even just notepad, and copy and paste the text before submitting.
However you should be able to log in and not be logged off. I haven't had to log in here for months.0 -
Have you ticked the "Remember Me" option when you log in?0

I highlight the text, do CTRL-C to copy and then press post. If it fails I can then do CTRL-V to paste it back in.Happy chappy0

Cookies can be tracked etc.etc. so it will have your username is which you post or something like that.
Deleting the cookies gets rid of any evidence you were on there, where as cookies would usually remember username and password so you stay logged on.
In settings you can set when you want session cookies to be removed, either after certain time, when you close broswer, when you exit site or whatever.0 -

But as I sign out there is a message to say "All cookies cleared" - soemthing you don't see anywhere else. I have IE7 set at Medium and there are loads of cookies on the list in temporary internet files. Why do the cookies get deleted from this VBulletin?
They get deleted on most sites you log out of. The message is from the VB software, not IE.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
