phone autoglass... pay for windscreen.
or upgrade to fully comp insurance and claim in a few days. a windscreen can crack/chip at anytime. The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits0 -

i have no idea but surely its worth a shot. is it long until your renewal?
unless you have an older car (with rubber beaded screen) the screen will be very difficult to change without the aid of a professional.
modern screens tend to break when removed from a vehicle so a scrap one is not really an option. The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits0 -

And we wonder why our insurance is so high, setting aside the slightly dodgy plan for getting it done on insurance. If you had been fully comp it would have cost the insurance £400 but the real cost is £60!!!0
