bank protection calculator

As a techy question and a moneysaving question, I hope this is the right place for this....

I've been trying to design a calculator to help people work out how their deposits are protected, and to adjust accordingly. I've done it on an excel spreadsheet, and published it on a Zoho spreadsheet here.

Zoho is a bit slow, but allows auto-complete for the bank names, which is useful. Does anyone have any better ideas how to create an online calculator easily?
