Capital One/Amex versus Virgin Credit Card

Options
Whilst I think I am normally completely au fait with which credit card to go for (and often advise others) I am now in a quandry which card to use.

Capital One offers 1% cash back
Amex offers upto 1.5% cashback
Virgin white card offers 3000 new bonus sign up and 1 mile per pound or 2miles per pound with the airline
Virgin black card offers 6000 new bonus sign up and 2 mile per pound or 4 miles per pound with the airline and various comp upgrades but costs £115 pa

So on an assumption that £1000 per month is put on credit card (naturally all paid off every month, heavens forbid interest!!!) which do you think is the better.

We regularly fly Virgin - HELP!!!!!

    Hi mcjj
Virgin bonus points will depend on where you fly to and how regular and what deals are normally around for the time of year. also there are the excesses to be paid for like baggage which many are in the thro's of changing to.

Can you be more specific? Or maybe the above information may help you to calculate further. I certainly wouldn't be paying a CC company an annual fee to use their card unless they were going to offer me an awesome rate and a handful of purchase offers with companies I would use on a regular basis no matter how much I earned or used on the card.
