MY MINI cooper s needs your help/advise

Got a mini cooper s covert 55 reg,having issues with it can you help
when the car has been locked via the remote control the inside light dims then brightens it self and repeats this continously, This happened a few weeks ago, whilst I was on holiday the car alarm jumped into action for no reason but upon investigation it apeared the battery was almost flat so we charged the battery almost 2 weeks since now and I have not had a problem now suddenly its just started to do the adove as though the battery is getting flat, checked the battery it seems to be full totally puzzled

Is it still in warranty? It's either sod's law that it's just out or it's still in warranty.

If anything at all goes wrong I just take mine over to BMW and they're lovely. The little metal ring on my round key broke off and they even replaced that for me!

55 reg could be in or out of warranty depending on month of purchase.

I'd get over to the forums on https://www.mini2.com for some advice.

As said just out of warranty only do 8,000 miles a year, very low miles for year intended keeping the car for ever as my oh loves it so thought no need to extend as I thought they are very reliable he ho thanks anyway will look at the mini site

Sounds like a door switch problem, or a problem with a relay. Either way an automotive electrician is what you should be looking for.

Possibly water is getting in to the BC1 Controller - I've heard of it happening to a few people in MINIs. Do a search for that on MINI2 and you may find more details.
