Half Term activities in and around Truro and Falmouth

Just a quick note to ask if anyone has details of activities suitable for 4 year olds during the half term school holidays next week.

We will be in and around the area of Truro and Falmouth next week.

I would be delighted to hear of any activities

Many thanks

    Hello

I'm in Truro - this is a good place for listings:

Have a great holiday - weather's great down here at the moment!

  • I visited the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth in September - there were a lot of hands on displays for children. I particularly loved the Tidal Zone where at high tide you can stand well below the tide level and see lots of sea creatures up close.

If you have any Clubcard vouchers knocking around you can always get Deals vouchers with these and use them to pay admission to the Museum. I think they've got some kind of Halloween event on too next week (possibly on Halloween itself)

Bit further east is the Eden Project of course - looks like they are running some Halloween themed events: http://www.edenproject.com/whats-on/now-and-next/halloween-at-eden.php

Whatever you do, hope you have a great time :)

  • Also, if you have National Trust membership a number of the NT properties/gardens are running events like Halloween crafting at Lanhydrock (which at Bodmin might be a bit too far east for you?) and Amazing Mazes at Glendurgan (just south of Falmouth)
