I changed providers a while back and so obviously changed my primary email address.I now need to recover login info for another site as I have forgotten it,but my password reminder is going to be sent to my old registered address.I remember some time ago there was a link on here for how to do this in outlook express, however I have done a quick search but can't find it.Could someone provide it again please

It is a long shot, but you could try entering your old email and password at https://www.mail2web.com0

best way will be to get the password reminder email sent and use the webmail facility on your old ISP's website.
If you reconfigure OE to pick up the mail from the old account you'll have x amount of months spam mail etc downloading too,.0 -
Try this site:

and in particular this:

(if I understand your problem correctly)Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -
On second thoughts, ignore my post..
Just tried to download it and my anti virus scanner has picked it up as a password stealer.. I'm fairly confident that this is a false positive, and it is just reacting to the fact that the program recovers passwords, but better to be safe than sorry..
PS Have used software from this site extensively in the past, and am fairly confident it's not a virus..
There are some details about the false positive problem here:

thanks guys, but up to now no joy,the mail2web link is taking forever to load and has not completed so I gave up.My old providers webmail facility(i didn't know you could do this) is showing error 999 and won't work.Albatross, thanks but i've taken your advice and left it alone.0

if the webmail isn't working then setup a new identity on your OE for it. Once you do that i'll go through all the settings for the account but you'll need to have the server details for the incoming mail.0
