I would really appreciate some advice as I'm not a gardener!

I'm getting married in March and would like simple tulip arrangements on the tables. if we were to plant the bulbs ourselves, would they flower in time?

Quick answer is no

Longer answer is "it all depends"

Some of the smaller species tulips could just about make it, given a warm spring and not blizzards

The normal "Darwin" types, which I think are the type you have in mind, long stems, large flowers, are more April to May

If you had access to green house you may get way with it, but given the occasion I think I would be prepared to buy them from a florist

Thanks for the response. I'm going to look at the bulbs you suggest as they look beautiful, but will take your advice. As I'm not greenfingered, and the weather is not known to be kind, I'll go with the florist!
