phishing Scam Warning! , And Help

Hi , i just got an email from someone called [EMAIL="Lloydstsb.confirm@lloydstsb.com"]Lloydstsb.confirm@lloydstsb.com[/EMAIL]
AND I AM NOT EVEN A LLOYDS TSB CUSTOMER!!!
And this is the exact message ... (subject IMPORTANT UPDATE NOTIFICATION)


[SIZE=-1]Dear Valued Customer,[/SIZE]
[SIZE=-1]Your Internet Banking account(s) needs to be updated into our new SSL. By doing this, [/SIZE]
[SIZE=-1]our Internet Banking server will add more securities to your account(s). [/SIZE]
[SIZE=-1]This will also foreclose your account(s) from Internet Banking Theft. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=-1]This is an automatic update system. Your account(s) will be updated after you have signed in.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=-1]As part of our ongoing commitment to provide the "Best Possible" [/SIZE]

and the bad idea is you included the phishers web site as it's hidden under the word "sign on"Ex forum ambassador

There's also http://www.banksafeonline.org.uk/ but personally I'd just delete and forget, the effort to return ratio is probably really dire (i.e. why waste the effort reporting it, or hundreds more like it when seriously unlikely it would be actioned or is even capable of being actioned).
The only true solution is for everyone not to fall for them. So delete and forget and make sure you keep everyone and yourself vigilent over them. If nobody falls for them they become no longer profitable and then there's no point in sending them. Same with any spam for that matter."She is quite the oddball. There's a much better one, allegedly from the Halifax Bank, which warns you about phishing scams, and asks you to "just click here"... :rotfl:0
