Cheapest Place to Buy Windows XP?

Does anyone know the cheapest place to buy a legal copy of Windows XP (any version) please?

    You'll have to hurry while stocks last, try Dabs or Amazon to start with. Think Jigsaw still have stock too.
  • Try any independent computer retailer, they should have a stock of XP discs, which come with the serial number. They have these on cheap because a lot of big companies buy a load of desktop PC's which come with XP, however because the company run NT they have no use for the XP discs, hence they sell them on cheap in bulk.

    Technically this would be breaching the OEM licence supplied with the PC.

    OEM copies are tied to the machine. Any independent PC supplier selling this on because the original PC isn't going to run XP is breaching the OEM licence. You can only sell the PC and OEM operating system together, you cannot legally take the OEM operating system off the PC and sell it onwards.
