Hi everyone,
Does anyone know whether this is a "plug and play" model?
I have been advised that this type of model may be easier for my Dad to install?
Thanks in advance
Suzanne

I doubt it will run without the drivers, especially as I assume it has a SCANNER with it?
Here they are anyways ~

(Couldnt find them on the Lexmark site for some reason!)
Simply choose whichever operating system hes on, download and install.
The running of it should be a doddle:idea:0 -
I would prefer you do not install any Lexmark printer. Very very expensive running costs and there are better, thought about a laser printer?
Oh did I tell you Lexmarks inks are very very expensive?0 -
Hi all,
The model is only £49 in Asda!!
Dad is quite a novice and I am 200 miles away, otherwise I would do it for him.
Would he still need to search for drivers if it came with an install disc?
Sorry if I am being dim, I blame the menopause :-)
Cheers

No ~ drivers should be on the disc ready to go
Nothing to it though, just let it do the business:idea:0 -
Cheers aliEnRIK,
Thanks a lot for that!
Dad will be pleased.

Hi again aliEnRIK,
Just thought I would ask!!
Dad has a lex X2350, inherited from Uncle, no disks, no instructions.
I enquired about the 2650 because 2350 was not printing?!!
It has now decided to print again?? should he keep the 2350 or buy new 2650??
Help Please dont know what to advise.
Thanks

If its working and printing he may as well stick with it (If hes happy?)
Ill have a look for drivers when I get in from work if you want
:idea:0 -
The above user wasnt refering to the running costs being high as the cost to buy the printer i think its more likley the ink costs which are usually very high with lexmark printers, all the drivers are on the lexmark site for download.
