Yes - it's not the same without him somehow. Let's hope he's just on vacation somewhere and will be back soon.Mortgage Feb 2001 - £129,000
Mortgage July 2007 - £0
Original Mortgage Termination Date - Nov 2018
Mortgage Interest saved - £63790.60
ISA Profit since Jan 1st 2015 - 98.2% (updated 1 Dec 2020)0 -
At least for the time being without Galstonian we can say what we actually think without fear of it being altered.
I laugh at the Terms and Conditions of the site, which have recently been drawn up. Section 9 - say what we want you to say or we will get rid of it or alter it.
It won't stop me bringing some entertainment to the users of the site ;D0 -
If you don't like the terms and conditions why do you continue to post here ?Charles J0

I believe in saying what I believe in. In saying what I think.
If that is illegal then the site has my IP address.0 -

Sorry Bouncy but I don't agree with your attitude. Moderators are a necessary evil and try to do a fair job - not easy. Without them you would just get unconstructive anarchy that would serve no purpose whatsoever and be the end of this site.
I think the reason this site is so good is because of the quality and content of the posts - helped by moderators. I don't need to agree with the content of posts but I like to think that the poster is giving an informed opinion - not just spouting.
Btw I'm not implying that you are / have spouted in the past.
The other aspect to all of this is the fact that the site, Martin, can be held legally responsible for anything posted on here - again hense the need for moderators.

It still says he's board mod, so it can't be anything permanent or he's have told Martin and wouldn't be mod any more.
That's what I think anyway. (*fingers crossed smilie*)Murphy's No More Pies Club #209
