DLA care component is for the person claiming it. The Carer may be entitled to Carers Allowance if you get mid/high care.0

so care component and careres allowence are two diffrent things? wow this is confusing i didnt know what its just i dont have 1 specified person who helps me out theres a few!0

if you get high or middle rate care DLA then if there is someone who does more than 30 hours a week caring for you then they can claim carers allowance in their own right - which is paid to them0

i see well i dont need 30 hours a week help so i wont bother with that,0
