Ring them up and ask them.
  • It took longer than that for mine to arrive, but after two days, I still can't use it. V annoying!
  • I finally got mine after 5 weeks of waiting because they had that issue with the credit card issuer not being able to make them for new customers (something to do with the database) and kitty, the reason we cant use our cards right now is that their system has had a malfunction when interacting with everyone elses. Their system shows we have money on the cards but to everyone else it looks like we maxed them out so we cant access them. Customer services rang me last night and told me and are ringing again today to let me know whats happening.

I'll post here when I know more.

I rang this morning after I used the automated system and then spoke to someone who explained the problem.

MI was also told my card should work on Saturday, but at 3.30 today, it worked!

I know they cater for the lower end of the market and the lack of service no doubt reflects that.

    Hi Moneysavers,

I recently applied for a Monument Visa card and receieved a letter today saying " Thank you for you recent application for a Monument Visa Card. Unfortunatly the Monument card is currently only offered by invitation only so unfortunatly you have not been successful at this stage" We will contact you in the future regarding any further offers.

So be advised that applying for this card is a wasted search on your credit file.

    Please bear this in mind.......

Let me know if any of you have receieved something similar

    Cheers all.....
