Amazon lowers free delivery cut-off to £5, but its price promise disappears too.

The free delivery is not next day delivery, if you want next day you have to pay for it. Sometimes I forget to change it to free delivery and have to go back and do it later, other times if I really want something fast, if it's a present I might pay for the faster delivery. You have to be careful and check the actual delivery dates on the order, sometimes they are pretty long.

They are misleading slightly when they show the 'guaranteed delivery by...' statement, but that is only when you opt for the express delivery of which you have to pay extra for. The super saver delivery takes up to 5 working days to arrive.

It does quite clearly say that if you want express delivery by x date then choose express delivery at checkout - nothing deceiving about that.
