Ugly Concrete Steps

Help! We have some unsightly concrete steps leading up to the front door and leading to the back door too. We have lots of steps!! How can we disguise these grey monstrosities? We are on a tight budget so cheap options will be much appreciated.

The cheapest option would be to paint them. A better finish would be to tile them or cover them with paving slabs.0
