Hi, ive just purchased my first lcd tv & found the black colours to be VERY black. Adjustment of the contrast makes no difference. Is this to be expected on a 'budget' lcd tv? ( £199)

sorry, i didnt check my post, i did try to adjust the brightness & the contrast, all i got was really bright whites & dark blacks. ie there was no difference in shade, if there was a person wearing black clothing against a shadow, it just looks like a massive black patch across the screen.chaps £20k out KE 06/10 in A&L 06/10 same day0
