rain does degrade the signal , I lose ITV channels and discovery first, assume its the way they broadcast their channels. possibly the same with setanta ..don't get it so cannot confirmEx forum ambassador

Maybe its the weather down your way.
We have it on here picture is fine we're in the north east england.Grocery Challenge. £400. - £35.22 + £19.80 + £109.01 = £164.03
Other spends (Clothes Luxuries etc)£11.97 + £1.19 + £7.36 + £69.00 + £38.50 + £5.50 + £23.00 +£2.00 = £158.52:shocked::sad:0 -
setanta picture quality is pretty much always naffThe orginal post in this thread has a very very slim chance of being about money saving. The post is more than likely to ask a question that google could answer better than any of us.0

the picture is going again!!Keep the Faith:cool:0

3 things..
dish could be slightly out of alignment

Most likely your dish has gone out of alignment."...IT'S FRUITY!"0

You should only lose channels in severe weather, if it is just rain etc. your dish will require attention as suggested above.0

We kept losing Sky altogether whenever it rained and so hubby went up the ladder with his mobile phone while I watched the tv with my mobile. This way I could tell him when the picture had returned. He also gave it a spray of WD40 (don't know if this helped but it didn't hurt?). Sky has been fine ever since, except the other day when it rained really heavily. So I would certainly look into having your dish adjusted.0

thanks for all your replies - i will monitor it next time it rains to see if it was a one off or whether I need to adjust the dishKeep the Faith:cool:0
