Substituting white wine

A small cooking tip I picked up from Ready Steady Cook during the week- you can subsitute apple juice [a drier one] in place of white wine in recipes. Thought that would cost the recipe cost back a bit. :snow_grin

Silly girl - its an accompaniment to wine which some people have on occasions like Christmas or Birthdays. I personally am a teetotaller!!:xmassmile
