I did. Unfortunately it was 2 days after I had already wasted a stamp as they continually told me I would miss the deadline to get my cheque in.

They then proceeded to move the deadline twice.

    Bunch of to££ers.

Can only hope for the best.

My wife rang this morning and asked about the latest date to get funds in.

She was told it's now actually this Friday, 24th October.

You can send money to your AA Internet Saver account using a CHAPS transfer but only if you know your account has been opened and you actually already know your individual AA Internet Saver account number

    Use the following details:

    Account name: The AA
    Sort code: 20-97-78
    Branch Address: Barclays Bank, Wolverhampton
    Account number: 70372609
Reference: Your AA Internet Saver account number
    Sending Name: Your own name

    Please note:
This type of payment will reach your account within three or four banking days if you use a BACS transfer.
If you use a CHAPS transfer then this has to be done before the individual sending bank's daily time deadline so as to arrive on the same day. Different banks have different deadline times and different CHAPS fees.

Please note that if you are not given the opportunity to enter a reference number, you should not use this method to send us money, as it will not be applied to your account.

    .

But the account will not be opened until they have received a cheque from the linked account which is what the OP is trying to send them.

I can confirm that the website is now allowing extra deposits to be made via DD. Something that it was not allowing on Sunday.
