  • From high to low.....

discovered this evening that my freezer in the shed had defrosted. Had to throw out everything..... all my lovely homemade pies, cakes, biscuits and ready meals. :(

Bad luck! Can you make an inventory and claim on the insurance?

Can we quickly come for dinner

    What rotten luck.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • Sorry but everything had to be thrown out :(
I think it's about £200 lost in total but don't think it's worth claiming on the insurance - they'd only get their money back again some how.

Ginger, sorry to hear about your freezer you must be gutted to lose all that homemade food its not just the cost its the time and effort you put in as well!

Having just read through your whole diary you have def inspired me to go and get all my paperwork together and start working on clearing all my debt by 12/12/12 as well, not sure how realistic that is at the moment but will certainly be having a go.

    Keep up the good work!

Hey GNB, congratulations on your massive steps forward since I last checked up on you. Honestly I look away and you rid yourself of 2 loans!!!

Glad the NR thing worked out without cashing in the ISA, I am convinced that in no time you will have the CC balances cleared now you are not losing money on interest.

Shame about the freezer food, and good luck with your continuing journey!
