Right, looks like I might be getting a refund. But NEVER NEVER again. I don't need this kind of hassle over a £1.
Also, I just been on website and having managed to spend £288 x 2. I just entered two nights for 28-30th Nov and it came up at £144! I can't explain how it all happened but to be honest looking at their website they do a lot of reasonable deals and it looks a pretty nice place. Next time I'll just pick a reasonable rate and settle for that.0 -
Well, I just ended up booking 4 nights at a Travelodge for £76 over Christmas (£19 a night). At least I know I've definitely got that room for 4 nights! In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

Did anybody eventually get the HTML link to work as I gave up trying after a couple of mins. I did get a 29 quid room through the flash site!0

Nope - at around 12:20 the £1 sale link took you through to a different HTML page that let you book the £1 rates, but the one posted earlier still didn't work. I was very fortunate to manage to nab a room at around 12:25, and would have given up at around 12:10 if it hadn't been for the encouragement to carry on from someone else on this thread, so thank you!
Congratulations to anyone that was successful.

I´ve booked 2 nights at www.hydeparktowers.co.uk for £160 inclusive of taxes and breakfast which I think is an excellent offer for location, I rang them for the best rate.0
