I'd make a big fuss and complaint if I were you. You SHOULD get the room if you've got the confirmation, otherwise, WHAT IS THE POINT OF GETTING IT CONFIRMED?

if you wait a little while sometimes the emails can take a while to come through. I know they did the 1st or 2nd time they did the offer. Hope that helps.

That won't work. I've tried it. I had a confirmation pop up on screen, but no email. I rang them and was told there was no record of my booking. I went through the flash site and kept getting connection refused when confirming my booking. I inputted my details over and over again every time it did this. The last time it did it, it didn't take me back to the start, but popped up a confirmation box (which I printed off). The confirmation number was -1! I rang them and they said no. I kicked up a big stink, but to no avail. :(

If anyone's booked a room for either the 24th or 25th December that they won't be using, please let me know.

Hi; I believe that was what happened to me - and yes my confirmation number was the same as yours... this is very bad and so disappointing

  • I had to come home on my lunch break to try to book...all the problems with the £1 rooms I decided to book the date i wanted for £29 and managed it, rather than spending all that time clicking on the £1 link to no avail.

I kept trying to get the £1 room but by the looks of things it all started working just as I left my PC to get back to work...gutted. Still, combined with the £59 room i booked last night, £88 ain't bad for a weekend (fri/sat nights) in london

OMG you can' be as unhappy as me at the mo. I thought it would great to get a day in London for my husband's birthday. I had plans!

Used html link which I gather reading through wasn't working properly. Kept hitting reserve and it kept sending me a message to use english characters (!!!). Eventually, got it accepted. But said £288. I rang hotel and they said they'd ring me back.

I emailed to be sure and got an acknowledgement.

Just logged onto my hotmail - I've been billed twice each time for £288!

    Howzat for a disasterous purchase?

Worse still how am I supposed to explain that?
