I would say getting bookings comes down to how you go about it - at first when you really need the bookings you come across quite desperate and this puts people off for some reason but once you have bookings you are not quite as desperate and get more if that makes sense (this is what I found anyway).

All I can say which has proved to help is visual aids - put together a showcase of what people dcan get free and laminate it and pass around at your parties - e.g. in April use an average party of £300 - either cut photos out of catalogue and put them on a sheet of paper or do photos, show them 36% which would be £108 - here is an example for you:-

Global Fusion Hurricane & centrepiece = is £108 approx so this would be FREE
They could then add the photo frame as 25% item and then add one of the bronze booking gifts as they need 2 parties in April so they would also get say Dotty Votive holder FREE - so show all the pictures of these products and tell them they would get all this for £21.

remember you need to do a new one for each month as in May you would include hostess specials and treasure island gift.

Visual works better for everyone - then once you have started earning money you can start to bribe them with gifts for certain dates!

Question - Hostess offers. I know you cant buy them with commission but do they count towards sales from the party or not?

No they don't count towards your sales as these are extra for hostess only!

    Is anyone else struggling?

I can't get anyone else to have a party for me and I can't do an 'At Home' for a while. I'm not going to clear my kit or qualify either at this rate.

I've tried sending out info for fundraising, but I think people just think it's spam.

Well I've held two very successful parties, one of which I got bookings from, the other I did not get bookings. I have a party next week which I don't think will make too much and probably won't get bookings so its the bookings side of things that I'm finding difficult.

Also I have found out there is someone in my area doing partylite as my friend was invited to a party! Must try to find out who she is lol!
