Just done my first party. Had to hold my own as no-one had booked party in march, so this was my first since my starter party in Feb. Lots of cancellations so ended up with 6 people. Also had a candle pool I'd been collecting over the last few weeks worth £52, plus £80 of outside orders (hoping to get a couple more tomorrow) total sales was £353!! Was really pleased only need £70 to qualify this month so if I can get a couple of orders tomorrow then i'll be sorted. great thing though 2 bookings for April both with groups of friends i don't know so hopefully this will be the kick start I needed.

i realy recommend holding your own show if you are struggling one month - I was really thinking of cancelling at 7.45 when no one had turned up (7.30 party) - I knew 3 would def be there but anyway it turned out well and the 2 bookings i would never have expected. Not only do you get paid for not leaving the house but so far i have just over £50 to buy stuff from the catalogue with my hostess credit so a great way to build your kit - especially if you have one in April!.
Brilliant - well done you are on your way:T

Unfortunately I never got to do it.

step-son is in hospital so was in Dundee which is about 2hours away from where I live so spent most of the weekend up there and had to cancel my party.

My girls in my team who were partying promoted in instead and they had a laugh as they told everyone at the party and it created a great atmosphere at the parties so worked for them.

    maybe next year!

I make my own beauty products and in about 6 month will be ready to go live with sales. I will have website and already have interest from serveral beauty therapists who will stock within their shops. I only use natural ingredients and not preservatives. Its a cross between Avon and Neils Yard. I got the idea as my son has eczema and no comercial product is really good enough.

Would anyone like to get involved? There would be no set up charges and you would not need to handle stock or deliveries. I could even make for you under your own brand if you liked?

I am totally flexible and open to suggestions at the moment.

Wow that's fab well done. I am thinking about doing a coffee morning party maybe during the Easter Hols but not sure who to invite yet lol! The people I invited to my starter show are just not interested but I have another idea in the pipeline.

keen to hear how your idea works out. For this show i invited everyone who didn't come to my starter show, all my neighbours and anyone else! ok so the Sunday night after the clocks went forward was not a great night but you live an learn - maybe if it had been the friday night i would have got double the sales!
