Any great accounts spotted lately?

I try to do as much of my own research as possible and sometimes find accounts that are not listed on the comparison sites (for example when all sites were listing 6.15% as the best cash ISA rate esrlier in the year, I found 6.3% at the Yorkshire, not mentioned anywhere as far as I could see!)

I need to open another account and wondered if there are any hidden ones lurking out there that other MSE's have spotted !

(I already have A&L esaver2 at 6.6% and Birmingham Midshires at 6.52%)

It's just for 3-6 months, but Halifax are doing a fixed term at 7%

I went for a Birmingham Midshires e-saver. I looked at the thisismoney.co.uk league table over the weekend and it isn't on there. No idea why not, it is above whatever else they had on there.

Egg are doing 6.55% plus 1.8% bonus for 12 months instant access making 8.35% for Egg Savings Account. No penalties or restrictions either.

Hmm, [Citation Needed] I think. Their website claims 6.55% *including* the bonus for 12 months AFAICT.

Halifax had a 10% International Regular Saver, but first deposit was be placed by the 24 October. So that s missed, I phoned and they said that they have a 8% regular saver...
