On average I guess £1.50? Normally take my own but occasionally tempted by the local sandwicj shop or - hows this for a bargain - the local chippy do special £1 deal - chips plus sausage, fishcake, or pineapple fritter, plus gravy, curry sauce, peas or beans! Too much of a bargain to resist some times....0

As most shops are not open when I work, I have to make my own. So, prob about £2.50-£3.00/day0

I've only recently started bringing lunch to work - it's saving me £10/week but the tin foil to wrap them in each day is eating into this saving.
If only I had...
Ice-pack lunch box chiller
Drinks bottle
Lock and lock containers
Sandwich bags
Snack jars
A stainless steel vacuum flask0 -
About £3 a day in the staff canteen. Probably about £2 if I get time to make a packed lunch.0

I try and cook an extra portion or eat what is left in the fridge today it is baked beans and 2 crusts of bread. Biggest problem is finding a container to put it in and carry it to work!0

It depends really, I spend about £1 ish when I make my own lunch and anywhere between £2 and £5 if I don't.
I find the cheapest bought lunch I can find near my work (London) is the Pret egg and cress sandwich at £1.50 - bit boring but does the trick when I've forgotten to bring my lunch in..I know I'm in my own little world, but it's ok - they know me here!0 -
