Both my partner and I usually take our lunches to work every day (very MSE!) but for me, I find that this means that if I haven't brought my lunch I tend to spend even more ... so last week I took my lunch four days and the day I bought lunch it cost £9, as I went out.
If I pack my lunch I reckon it's under £2 a day, as we try to buy our lunch stuff little and often from the marked down stuff in the supermarket!latest win: LOTR: Moria - thanks to catz

I spend about £5, at most £10 a week. I'm a support worker and can eat in work, also i cook for the week and freeze it, today i'm having a some of a large biryani i cooked at the weekend. I'll rarely buy a prepacked lunch. So ok, sometimes i'll have a meal out, but it all evens out like.0
