At Morrisons they often reduce their pies from the deli counter, I often get 2 for 19p. I get home and individually bag them up and put them in the freezer. In the morning my husband takes one out and takes it to work. Voila! Lunch for less than 10p!
I do the same with reduced bread rolls. I buy 6 rolls for 9p and individually bag them up. Hubbie takes one with a cup-a-soup and again you have lunch for about 10p.
See you all at Morrisons money-savers!!!0 -
Fortunately I am able to come home for lunch so approx (£1-£1.50), however hubby insists on buying lunch (£5 per day) and this habit needs to be stopped so a new lunch pack would go some way to pursuading him that homestyle is healthy.
Cheers!0 -
i probably spend about 50p on lunch each day.
