I also try to make my own lunches but a lot of the time I don't have time so it costs me about £1.95 a day.

I don't think I even spend a pound. Today's offering was an apple, a banana and a tupperware pot of mixed salad with chickpeas and a sprinkling of herbs out of the garden. I have to take a packed lunch as I have Colitis and can't rely on the staff canteen.

I always take my own food usually a baked potatoe I have cooked the night before so probably about 50p

Since starting our own business we realised just how much we were spending on shop bought sandwiches and obviously all the extras when we had jobs!

So now it's 'make our own' lunches and saving our pennies which works sooo well for both our waistlines and our pockets!

I must spend about 2 - 3 pounds a day when i dont make my own lunch, a trolley coming round to your desk is a very dangerous thing!

:j I probably spend about £2 day, though now I bring sandwiches to work and try to have a good breakfast before I go. Its v. expensive eating out nowadays, and even harder to find nutritional foods for a low price.
