  • it varies considerably depending on where I am/what I'm doing - but on average I'd say £1.25.
  • About £3.50 but then there's the chocolate bars from the vending machine!
  • I spend about £5 a week on lunch as I try to always make my own sandwiches.

I spend loads less than I used to (I work very near a subway - nom nom nom) but I've been trying to cut back so I've been making lunch and saving about £2 a day on that! Brilliant.

So at the moment I spend probably £1-£1.50 a day.

2 or 3 times a week I bring lunch into work with me - usually costing less than a pound a go!

Once a week I go out to lunch with friends - but usually use the cheap restaurant deals from here to get a bargain!

The rest of the time I spend about £3 on pasta or sandwiches at work - usually when I've been too lazy to make lunch in the morning! But I try to keep costs down by only drinking water from work!
