I must spend about £2 a day on my lunch even though I am at home. I have to plan due to have two small children otherwise its far too easy to pick up a bar of choc or bag of crisps if I dont have the time to make a sandwich, soup etc.2 adults and 3 children DD (14), DD (12) & DS (10) :smileyhea and 2 mental beagles.

Hi
I take lunch to work from home everyday. I buy a packet of pittas at the beginning of the week and fill it with salad and cheese or cooked chicken. I think the total cost per day is about 60p.

I spend anything from £1 (if I go to Tesco and get soup) to £10 (if I eat lunch out with my colleagues). A typical lunch is a salad box from the local deli which is £3.50.
I've just started a diet to lose a few pounds so this would really help me to stick to my diet by taking my own lunch and saving a few ££££s.
Please, please, please can I have one

Hello. I take a packed lunch every day. Have to be disciplined to make it but saves loads of money. I used to spend £3 - £4 per day, nearly £20 per week!!
Under control now, packed lunch about £1.20 and an easy way to save money.
Thanks for this post.0 -
Sounds brilliant - fingers crossed!:beer:0
