I have three children under 5 and they all have lunch at home. I also make something for my husband as he also comes in for lunch so I probably spend around £3.00 to £3.50 per day on this alone. There usually is some waste though from the kids which is unavoidable.

This sounds great!!! I've always wanted one of those flasks!! Fingers crossed:T0

I reckon approx £3.50 - i make a meal which serves 8 (eg shepherds pie) split it into portions and freeze and take one to work each day - the rest is fruit - a banana, apple, 3 satsumas and some melon and pineapple.
Reckon its healthy and economical but i could do with a new lunch box etc.
crossing my everything
