I'm hopless, and organising lunch is the last thing on my mind in the mornings.... or at night when i get home! So I spend between £3 and £5 a day on lunch! Boots make a fortune out of me!0

I probably spend between £0.80p and £1.40p I guess. I make items last and buy a lot of 2for1's with long dates. I have to keep the lunch packs interesting and buy fresh fruit and items from the Deli. I think that the key is to be a bit imaginative with the fillings. I put a smaller lunchbox in the bigger box with chopped olives and feta! Malt loaf freezes well and makes a cheap tasty snack.

I'm normally buying the ingredients for sandwiches in the weekend for the following week and then have them in the fridge at work.
It works out quite well, less then £1.5/day.
Of course, sometime you get bored of what you bought from supermarket and go out and buy food, when it becomes more expensive £3-4.
So I would say on average, per day ~£2.0
