Tax Credits - claim up to £1048

I have been told that this site http://taxcredits.org.uk/ allows you to claim up to £1048 if you have a child born between 6th April 2002 and 5th April 2003. Also, if you have a child born between 6th April 1986 and 5th April 2003, you can claim £529 allowance.
Worth a try, although there will be a £94 deduction for making the claim through the Entitlements Agency.

This type of thing has been on MSE a few times before. This website sounds official but is just another company making a quick buck.

If people are entitled anything at all there is never any need for someone to pay 'commission' for help. All it takes is a call to HMRC to ask if you've overpaid income tax and if so you want to claim it back. You can only reclaim tax going back 6 years tax so do it quickly.

If anyone is going to ring HMRC it won't be Tax Credit helpline as it's nothing to do with tax credits.
I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!
