Where can I get girls clothes from?

My DD is nearly 10, and for her shape some girls tee shirts seem to be a[STRIKE] lot[/STRIKE] bit on the short side,(can see her tummy at the bottom) but I find ladies sized skinny fit tees fit her better - Sainsbury's size 8-10 is a bit loose on her but fits her lengthways - I think perhaps she has a long body and shorter legs.
She's approx 134cm tall at the moment, so pretty average in height.
I agree though, some kids ranges are into teen styles from about age 7 upwards. Monsoon clothes are lovely, fit DD well, but are prohibitively expensive, so I'll stick with Tesco/Asda trousers and ladies Tees for casual wear for her for now...Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Most of the supermarkets don't do girls clothes up to this age, Next Directory do but they're expensive, I know New look have a 9-15 range but is that it?, I have tried some adult size 6 clothes on her but they are too big so I'm struggling for choice for her really
Can anyone give me any options?
Yup, exactly the same here
Tremendous challenge to avoid the "tarty teen" look - and actually an overgrown 9yr old and a teen are not the same shape so things don't fit either!
DD has just had a bit of a restock from Sainsburys (joggers and jumpers) in age 12 that are nice- but some of theirs stuff is just too long and skinny). Her school stuff is M+S age 11-2yrs.
Also got some lovely bits from GAP in the sale- pop along now for the real bargains (£2.99 leggings, £4.99 tops etc) you will do well here as the range is fairly "younger girl" in orientation, though the age 12 and 13+stuff is big enough too- and not appealing to actual 13yr olds, so the bigger sizes are often in the sale!
TKmaxx I keep looking in, but, generally falls into the "too tarty" for my liking- though if you are looking for basic jeans or a surf dude look the boys stuff is good.
H+M is hit and miss- often rather long and skinny but sometimes just right. Sometimes very, very wrong though- DD tried an (age12?) "Hello Kitty" top on, with a lovely kitty face outlined in studs- unfortunately the fitted line of the top and her little 9yr old tum (she isn't fat, just a 9yr old shape) meant that the round kitty face virtually made her look preganant:eek:
Coats/fleece tops and trousers if she'll wear them from Millets or similar have always been very good in quality and fit though.
Oh, DD1 (15 but smallish and curvy) loves Mckays kids for the occaisional "spot on" purchase- you just have to watch carefully. She has a "drop boys not rubbish" T shirt, which is very her, but she couldn't have the one that said something like "look after the world it is my future" with a globe pic. She loved it, but when she put it on the glove was rather, hmm, no longer round when stretched over her curves:rotfl:0
