MSE_Martin wrote: »Hi folks,
Good to see so many people's money coming through. Don't worry though we know not everyone has got. And we will be keeping on this until ALL the money has been recovered.
Having said that, I want to let the land calm so we can all see where we stand for the rest of today. We don't want to knock ING direct when its just people's recipient account thats slow to show th emoney up.
I may well start a new thread tomorrow and a new poll. Hopefully no one will be interested because everyone (or almost everyone) will have their money by then.
Fingers crossed this thread dies soon for all the right reasons.
Martin
Thanks for your support Martin. I'm sure like all those who are left, I'm really delighted for those who can now stop worrying. However, the more that come through the more worrying it is for those left behind. I therefore particularly appreciate your comment about keeping on it until all money is recovered.
For other peoples' information, my request was the following:
£xxxK
CHAPS
8/10 (taken from account 9/10 along with £20 CHAPS fee)
To nominated account
Still not arrived0 -
You nutters with well over the FSCS insured amount, must have been seriously cacking it.
For gods sake spread it across the banks to minimise your exposure in future, if I lost my £33k I would have been mortified, if I'd have lost £271,000.00 I would have been looking for somewhere quiet to bring it all to a peaceful end!0 -
It’s early days for a list but could people who are still waiting please post their bank, date, type (CHAPS or BACS). We may see a pattern.
I've got the details. Let's give it an hour or so and then I'll do a definitive edit so we can see if there's a pattern. I recognise almost all the names of posters whose money has come in - and most of those that haven't yet. The money will arrive - it's not a case of big amounts getting stuck. Eas(ier)for me to say I kinow. As to what happened - well my take is that our payments we'tr processed until this morning - the why of that is something else entirely.
BACS after the 10th are those in the '5%' I think.
BTW did you ever think you'd be so relieved to have access to your own money?CHAPS 8th Oct Rec'd 20th Lloyds TSB0 -
I've managed to climb back into my chair again after the shock of seeing my funds appear back in my bank.
If "phew" comes in sizes then make mine a large double one with extra cheese and large fries!
I've been lurking on this thread since the beginning but didn't really have anything extra to add. I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone who has posted and shared their experiences and reassured me that I was not alone.
A special thanks to LukeNukum and NoMoreKids for your appearance on the media and for MSE's Martin and Dan for the support and great website.
I hope that the good news for a lot of us will be a big help to those who are still waiting that there is light at the end of the (extended) tunnel!0 -
