I've just read the tip on buying the Brother DCP 115 all in one printer and have also just reserved one online from my Argos in Mansfield at the price of £39.99. (It's also the same price in my local Partners store as well).

Anyway, if you take a look at the Choice Stationery Supplies website (http://www.choicestationery.co.uk/Printer3.asp?Printer=5115&Type=NONE&Manufacturer=6) the LC900 compatible cartridges are just £1.79 each including P+P!!

One thing to note about this printer is that if you dont use the print, but just scan (as I tend to do) I still uses up the ink, ok took about 6 months to drain the tanks (easily refilled just drill a hole and top them up).

I tend to use it as a photocopier and scanner rather than as a printer as well, it does produce nice "contact strip" type from cards though.

  • I have had this printer 4 several years now and still going strong.
-search for LC900 on ebay (this is the code for the cartridges) dirt cheap if you buy packs of 12 (my granddad has the same printer and we share them)
-Put a book under the left hand side (opposite side to the cartridges) and it tips the ink towards the inlets = less waste:j
