Doc said not to take losec every day just when I had indigestion, so thats ok.
Just done comps up to and half of 17th. We had egg chips and beans for tea, my sister gave me a deep fat fryer, wonderful, bit of kit , hopefully it should save on elec, cos surely it must cost some to put electric oven on preheat it and cook a portion of chips in there:rotfl:
Right I,m going to watch me arsenal, now, for coup hours, warmth to all apart from rats and rabid cats and wigan:rotfl:
Thanks to all OPs:AThe Real Chris

Poor wokkies...It's been all sad news today....
Best Competition Wins-Brand New Vauxhall Corsa & £3000
  • Hello all, had a rather sad day here as well but hopefully as midnight brings the 12th in it will become a bit easier.

Was on a course at school this morning & someone came in at 10.50 to ask if we'd go into the rememberance assembly so I took LO in with me.
My eldest was already sat down with her class, they had the TV on showing everything going on in London (I think it was London) with the 3 men in wheelchairs who were in WW1 who were all over 100 years old, then when the silence started at 11 my eldest started crying so much the teacher had to go to her to make sure she was ok, it would have been my FIL's birthday today sadly he died before my LO was born so she never knew her Grandad on her Dad's side but my eldest was almost 4 at the time now she's 9 so her emotions are all over the place it took me, a teacher, and her best friend to stop her crying it was so horrid to see her like that.
Took some flowers to my MIL & KFC for tea & she said she'd been crying at work too so we all had a big cuddle which I think helped, it just brings it all back xxx
