but it'd make a nice avatar0 -
Hello everyone, trust your all well,
I have been a bit anti social the last few weeks as I have been so busy at work doing really long hours, I have been logging on for an hour or so in the evening and just entering some comps and then going to bed, sorry I have not popped in to say hello.
We are under threat of losing our funding at work and have a review on Wednesday, we need at least a C to secure our funding or it gets pulled in March.
I have been working flat out to try to get us ready for the review. I feel pretty stressed about it, staff will be “interviewed” all together for about an hour then they want to talk to the service users and then the manager. For me the stress is about being “interviewed” I have major memory loss when I am put on the spot, even though I know my job inside out.
Also a lot of the work has been to get everything together as our previous manager, who left in September, did absolutely nothing, so we have been doing in two months what should have been done in two and a half years.
Sorry I have gone on a bit, but I hope to have my life back after Wednesday, take some time off and see some of my friends and family again. What we see depends mainly on what we look for

Kimmywal, I wish I had some wise words as I know the worthwhile job you do and I really hope it all goes well and you can be more relaxed soon. It sounds like a difficult situation and it must be so emotional too having the service under threat. I know it is definitely easier said than done but try to forget that it is an interview and imagine you are talking to someone you know and simply be yourself. Don't they sometimes advise to imagine the interviewer sitting naked? Wouldn't work for me but may be worth a go, if only for humour factor.
Good luck and see you after Wednesday! But there are dreams that cannot be,and there are storms we cannot weather!0 -

he is a bit of all right lolReplies to posts are always welcome, if they are done in the correct manner. If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0
