Not doing anything tonight stressed, apart from getting the rabbits inside away from all the loud bangs! We're going to a friend's house on Friday night and will have a bonfire and proper winter grub (stew and jacket pots) - that's fine and I'll enjoy that but as I don't like fireworks I'll go inside and washup while they're all enjoying them! Sparklers are ok, I'm happy with those! :):)

  • What's anyone doing for Bonfire Night? Just been out on a sparkler mission and feel SOOOOO OLD. In my day they were right out on the counter at every newsagent, but tracked some down to my local supermarket and actually had to fill in a form and wait ten minutes for someone to get them out of storage. And yes, this is only for sparklers!

Off to an organised display in Abbotskerswell which is a lovely little village and they have an enormous crackling bonfire which is great! Should be dry here too. Will get me in the mood for Disney methinks!?
I'm staying in and drugging the dog!

    Hello :D

Is there any regular ebayers on here please?

I'm only just starting to try to sell some things, and i'm listing a voucher for £49 buy it now. Then ebay say the final value fee will be £4.85.

Is that right? It just seems high to me, i didn't know they would take that much off. Then there is the listing fee and paypal fee to pay after too :(

Am i doing anything wrong do you think? I'm sure an item i listed for over £100 was only £3.80 final value fee. Does it depend on the item or something?

    Thankies :D

  • Cheeky, that reminds me of quite a few years ago my friend's Jack Russell found something illicit wrapped in cling film in her handbag, and ate the lot!!! She was in a panic and decided best thing to do was get him to walk it off, so was to be seen at the local shopping parade literally dragging him along, flat out, on his lead!!!!! He was fine and lived to fight many a happy day and wasn't allowed to develop a habit for that kind of stuff! LOL!

ebay have increased their fees loads... have you listed in only 1 category?
This listing fee is included in the price it shows you when you have finished listing.
Paypal also charge a % when you have sold it if you have the buyer pay through paypal
