  • I talked to the GAME's customer service took 17 minutes to get through on an 0870 number (sorry martin), and I asked could I cancle the games there and then (before dispatch), she said no, I asked can I get a refund in store, she said no since its a bundle, but she did say i can get credit notes.

Because I ordered online I can't expect my local game to dish out £200 in cash? But she sounded like I couldn't send the games back either.

But I think GAME has catched on because I think i got £9 discount, and I think I read you can't return discounted goods seperatly?

If anyone could help me, please do, I ordered online, and want to know what I can do to get these games refunded.

    Hey

Ive signed up especially to reply to your post! lol.

I must admit I havent read any of your other posts, just your last one. I worked at GAME last Christmas, and have a personal gripe with them over misadvertising of the RRP prices on the front page of the Deal of the Day - which are always different the actual RRP when you click on the link ... ANYWAY...

You CAN return online items in store. You need to ring customer services and get an authorisation numbers. If it was a bundle, you will need to return the whole bundle officially, but it seems people have done with success. I know my store in Stafford you would have problems. Dont accept credit notes, by law they should give you a refund.

If you need any further help, feel free to email me. seanoneil286@aol.com

Game have none in stock but they are suggesting you buy a suitable alternative - a Gameboy Micro!!!!! Presumably they're trying to inject a little seasonal humour into their website?

Take them back to the shop as per their 10 day returns t&c - On your reciept it will show which item you've recieved the bundle discount against, it won't be a game. The only clause on discount is that you'll loose it if you take back the item thats discounted.

On my reciept it just reads like I've purchased seperate items - no mention of bundle deal or discount. (And the terms and conditions are on the back)

    Good story here http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=272902
